Aluminum-enriched filler is suitable for parts that operate under vibration and elevated temperature conditions. The fine fraction aluminum powder has a coefficient of thermal expansion almost identical to that of the metal parts of the machine. Therefore, the material does not peel or crack during car operation.
If it is necessary to remove a crack of any depth, this product will cope with the task. It is easily processed with a file, making the joint with the base invisible in height (in the professional language of auto painters, this is called “bringing to zero”).
The aluminum filler is applied to a previously matted surface, then cleaned of dust and grease. After mixing with the hardener, a plastic consistency is formed: it is easy to apply with a spatula. It is important that the layers are thin. The finished product can be used within 8 minutes. To create favorable conditions for drying, the temperature in the room should be in the range of + 10… + 23°C. The dried surface is sanded with a file with a grain size of P80 and above.
The Al powder filler is suitable for galvanized and stainless steel, primed surfaces, aluminum, and factory-applied car paint. The relative disadvantage is the need to cover this product with a finishing material. The product should be stored away from high-temperature places exposed to sunlight. Customers are offered packaging with a weight of 200g and 500g.
