Clear finishing coating created with lacquer provides a finished look for the body part of the car. The two-component MS lacquer (with medium concentration of dry residue) functions actively, complemented by a hardener. It is suitable for any metallic object, demanded for car painting.
A significant amount of filler forms uniformity and density of the composition. After drying, a good gloss is observed, which adds visual attractiveness to the vehicle.
Surface preparation is reduced to antistatic wiping of the surface with a cloth. This will remove the smallest dust particles that will spoil the picture, remaining under the layer of lacquer.
Mixing with the hardening component is done in a ratio of 2:1. A solvent is not required here. Application is done by mechanized spraying (nozzle diameter does not exceed 1.6 mm). It is necessary to spray 2 layers of lacquer to obtain a total coating thickness of 50-60 μm.
When drying under natural conditions at t=+20°C, 6 hours will be required to achieve assembly strength, and 8 hours for complete drying. In the chamber, this process is accelerated by 6.5 times. Completion of the complex polymerization process takes a week.
To remove sanding defects, small particles, abrasive polishing with a paper with a grit of P2000-5000 is required.
