Lacquer is used with metal surfaces. In the automotive industry, it is suitable for fixing the color and quality of painting for any type of vehicle.
The two-component composition has an intense and durable gloss, and is characterized by fluidity, which is necessary for even application. It protects enamel coating well, emphasizing its shade. HS means high dry residue in the product.
The surface is cleaned, coated with an antistatic agent, puttied, and primed. If necessary, a second putty layer is applied, then the primer is reapplied, and then they move on to the final coloring.
Preparing the mixture involves mixing the base product with the hardener, which is sold in a kit. The mixing container should be dry, because the hardener tends to immediately solidify everything liquid. The humidity in the painting room is set at 60-70%, with a maximum of 80%, which should not be exceeded under any circumstances.
The transparent lacquer is characterized by a significant content of dry residue. Spraying is done with a thickness of 1.2-1.3 mm, and it is better to do 2 layers. Drying time is 5-10 minutes. If further processing of the part in the chamber is planned, you need to wait for the initial hardness of the lacquer layer to be set. This happens within 15 minutes.
The product for auto painting work is corrosive, has increased flammability, and requires storage that excludes exposure to sunlight.
