Polyester resins conduct heat poorly, are not afraid of water, sun, heating as a result of heat transfer in the car, solar radiation. They are considered a dielectric material, they are well attached to metal, fiberglass, and plastic. It should be remembered that during hardening, products with the presence of polyester resin shrink (up to 10%). The product has an unpleasant, intense smell, so it is necessary to work with it in a mask. The inexpensive material hardens several times faster than its epoxy counterpart.
