The one-component sealing compound is distinguished by its ability to stick. It is well placed on metal and glass surfaces due to adhesion, and fully manifests its properties after the end of hardening. The thick consistency prevents spreading, within 20 minutes you can adjust the process by adding or reducing the amount of sealant. When interacting with oxygen, the hardening phase begins.
Polyurethane sealants are applied with a brush or by pneumatic spraying on the primed area. After 2 hours, the hardened mass can be painted. It withstands the influence of temperatures in the range of -40 … + 90 ˚.
If excess traces of sealant are found on the body in the form of splashes, solvent, acetone or solvent will help to remove them. It is also suggested to heat drops of the material with a construction hair dryer and carefully collect the softened substance with a screwdriver.
Use sealant to tightly seal seams in the car floor, panel joints, glass, and areas around doors. If you use sealant in a tube, a construction “gun” will help make the job easier.
