Gravitex U200 is used to treat the bottom and adjacent parts (arches, thresholds, bumpers, longitudinal parts of the car) from the impact of stones from under the wheels and the influence of wet, chemically active environments on the lower part of the car.
The composition is applied through the nozzle of a mechanical sprayer with a diameter of 4 mm. Before using anti-corrosion protection, you need to prepare the covering elements by removing small rusty damages. This is done using a grinder with a wheel attached or a sandblaster. After mechanical cleaning, the surface is washed, wiped and degreased.
Parts of the car not involved in the work are covered with a painting sketch. The composition is not applied to the exhaust pipe and engine. Welded seams and connecting areas are impregnated with seam sealant.
If the anti-gravel product is labeled Overpaintable on the packaging, this confirms that the rust-protected surface can be painted.
The anti-gravel coating can be applied to clean metal, although it will be more correct if the base is treated with an acid soil, then with a filler analogue, and then with a “lamb”.
U200 is suitable for steel, aluminum, stripped paint and varnish material, plastic, putty.
