Second component for automotive paint used for finishing the decoration of bumpers and body parts of cars. It is characterized by a medium level of filler content.
The hardener consists of polyisocyanates mixed with solvents. Its role is to accelerate the formation of high-molecular connections, which creates a reliable, dense, decorative coating resistant to the effects of atmospheric factors.
By using the hardener, the user receives:
- faster completion of painting with drying taken into account;
- material homogenization;
- a surface that does not cause the paint to darken;
- a moisture-resistant coating that protects the tonal base from scratches, dust adhesion, and the effects of acid rain;
- increased surface shine.
MS hardener is added in a quantity of 49.5% based on the mass fraction of components. If the volume fraction is calculated, it will be different. In case the mixture is too thick, a solvent is used in an amount not exceeding 10%.
The hardener is stored with a tightly screwed cap in a place with stable, low humidity, away from open flames and heat sources. It is sold in a set with paint and cannot be replaced by an analog of the HS series.
