HARDENER 5:1

Spackling is a formative process, and primer is an intermediate product between spackling and paint coating. It eliminates the risks that arise as a result of active sanding.

A 5:1 hardener is called a strength accelerator for acrylic primer that can fill pores. Its mass fraction is 20% in terms of the amount of primer material. The measured amount is added directly before starting work. The mixture is stirred, and a solvent (5-10% of the primer mass) is used to stabilize the viscosity.

The liquid substance should be well sealed in its original container. It should not be poured to change the container; simply take the required amount to pour into the acrylic product. This is because the hardener tries to find and absorb water in any way possible. If it can grab a portion of H2O from the air, changes will begin to occur in the structure quite quickly. Later, you will not get the expected result, and the priming work will need to be redone, cleaning up the unsuccessful composition.

The random entry of moisture can be determined by the condition of the lid. If you unscrew it and see a polymer web in some part, it is the result of polymer interaction with moisture. In that case, professionals recommend increasing the hardener dosage by 10-15%. However, we recommend screwing the lid tightly to allow the hardener to be used freely within the specified time on the can.
